My name is George Greis, and I am 67 years old. I have had a few jobs, I drove tractor trailer for 32 for years, sold appliances at a major retailer for 6 years, and cooked for Meals on Wheels for 3 years. The only job I got a good feeling about was Meals on Wheels, I felt I was doing some good. My brother drove a school bus in Florida for 11 years, and would tell me how much he liked it. I was driving past Eschbach Bus Service one day and decided to see if they needed any drivers. They did, so I filled out the paperwork, did the schooling and took the tests. That was one and a half years ago and I love every minute driving school bus. It is almost the perfect job. Whenever school is closed you are off. You have all summer off, between Christmas and New Years you are off. It's all good. So, if you want a career that has just about everything, drive a bus, you will be glad you did.
I have been driving school bus for Eschbach's for 15 years. I began to drive when I needed to find a job that would allow me to be home with my children. Driving school bus was a great fit. I was able to take my 3 year old son on the bus with me and be home for my daughter at the end of the school day. When the kids have off school so do I. This is a great job for any stay at home Mom or Dad.
